Working as a cartoonist since being lured into the "Outlaw Comics" movement in the 90's, Mike Koneful had his first major break supplying the art for FLESHEATER, created by lead NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD zombie Bill Hinzman.  Mike maintained a decades-long collaboration with CRY FOR DAWN co-creator Joseph Monks.  The duo colluded on everything from A to Z (literally: AGONY IN BLACK to ZACHERLEY'S MIDNITE TERRORS), including their successful (albeit short-lived) series GORY LORI.  He is a regular contributor to the adventure series BOXBOY & WHISKERS. Aside from comics, he is the in-house artist for former MISFITS singer MICHALE GRAVES and his work has appeared in numerous magazines and on SVENGOOLIE.  Mike also plays theremin for several horror punk bands.​​​
